FRIDAY,September 19, 2014 – MONTHLY BOARD MEETING
Come one, come all to the MONTHLY ASIANS AND FRIENDS – HOUSTON BOARD MEETING !!!!!
As always, you are invited and encouraged to attend our Monthly Board Meeting.
Meetings are open to the active membership and you can get some insight into what makes your organization function.
Attendees are always encouraged to participate in the proceedings.
If you cannot personally be there, you can send your ideas or requests to any Board Member. Your Board member’s contact e-mail addresses are on the website.Remember, this is YOUR organization. The Board always welcomes ideas, and input from the members to make the group a better place for all of us.Please make your ideas for future events known to a Board Member to be included in our discussions.
Board meetings start at 7:00 pm and this month will be held at Bob/Sam’s home, 2214 DeMilo Dr., Houston, Tx.

Are you 50 years of age or older AND LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender) or someone who is attracted to or has had a
romantic or sexual relationship with someone of your same sex or gender?
The Montrose Center and the Institute for Multigenerational Health at the University of Washington need your help with a
ground-breaking project. Our goal is to understand the aging and health needs of our communities for generations to come.
You can enter a raffle drawing awarding a $100.00 Gift Certificate to five randomly selected individuals by completing the raffle
participation form. You can complete the questionnaire and the raffle participation form on-line by clicking here. If you prefer a
paper-and-pencil questionnaire, please visit CaringAndAging.org/request or contact us at 1-800-558-8703 or AgePride@uw.edu
to request a paper questionnaire and raffle form and we will send them immediately. You are eligible for the raffle regardless of
whether you complete a questionnaire or not. Please keep in mind your participation in the project is completely voluntary. Your
decision to participate or to not participate will not in any way impact the services you receive or your relationship with Montrose
